City of ancient GOD

So what the hell Hin Fei was doing recently???

One week ago, I just finished my first ever paper in Finland at the end of October . Although it was just one subject but I still paid a lot of effort to it, so think I still can manage to pass this subject without much worry. Once I had done the exam, I rushed to the computer room and printed out all the information about Athens, Greece. Why? because I am going there next morning...wow...my first little trip. T_T (at last)

In the night, my 2 China friends and I went to Helsinki, Finland airport and stayed for one night, waiting anticipatedly, at least I am...After taking 8 hours air time included transfering and waiting, me finally get to Athens, Greece. Once we set our foot into the airport...hmm...not so good impression...it look more lousy than Malaysia airport - everything look old, can't find information center and even the luggage trolleys that suppose to be free also need to pay Euro 2. @_@

The temperature here was around 25 degree celsius, oh it made me missed my Malaysia damn much. I knew Finland will be around 4-5 degree celsius when I go back, almost going to snow... Along the way to Athens, buildings and streets look quite obsolete. I don't even have mood to take any photos of it...haha...It is a rather poor country compare with other Europe places.... After we reached the city, we started to find our hostel we booked while wandering around. It was around 5pm after we settled down in our hostel. Not much things we can do....so wandering the streets beside the hostel again...Didn't feel any excitement yet, hope tomorrow will be better...

Day 1 - Acropolis

Our schedule today was going to visit those ancient rocks left 5000 years ago...Hmm worth take a look...Those ancient rocks and buildings are scattered around a tiny mountain and itself which they called Acropolis.

Since that mountain is so damn obvious, we even can see it from our hostel, so we just walked there without using my black and white google-earth-printed map.

Day 2 - Delphi
After spending 3.5 hours to come to this place...we went to see rocks again?! I also don't know why I suddenly like 'rocks' so much...This time they are placed at the mountain in a rural area...

Day 3 - Budge seaside picnic
Today we just don't want to be so rush...We want to have more relax schedule...so we choose to go to the port in Athens...so...

After tired of walking, we are finding place to rest....and we saw this church...

Somewhere

So now I am in Finland...HOho...

When I reached Helsinki airport in Finland, it was cold and was raining. A Finnish girl came to picked me up(luckily) and sent me to my lovely(so-called) University, Helsinki University of Technology. Along the way, we were having some conversation and I looking out to see this land occasionally.

I was taken to few spots to do my administration stuffs and eventually I got my chance to go back to my room to unload my luggage. Wow...a single room.

When I opened my door...Waaaa....

Been there for few time when I feel down and boring...

Feel quite boring in the first few weeks, always walk and eat alone. Stress started to spore when I realized almost all the registered courses are master course subject. OMGGGgggg...no wonder my course mate look so old. Moreover, one of my lecturer don't give out his lecture slide and his lecturing style also have some problems. His english is not so good(OK this one I can forgive him) but he will simply skip some slide and say:"Emm...this one...I don't understand...*taptap*... ". Waaa....you...you...This was the first lecture I have in this University after this lecture I rushed to the main library and borrow a text book to mug. I think I am so much more hardworking (Reluectantly...I thought I came here to enjoy?!!) than I am in NTU haha...

The days here is just not as good as other people(you lo) think. I didn't go out play too much because it is too costly. Not yet been any country because my school has started already. Didn't eat too much canteen food because they closed at 5pm(this one really &*^%$#@%, is making me mad).

This moment, I realize actually NTU is a very VERY nice school. Still remember sometime I will complain NTU this and that but now I know I just didn't appreciate what I have and when it was gone...luckily it is still no too late haha...Having this in mind, I seldom complain my life here again and start to remind myself how lucky I am to be here...yaya. Tough course??? Study more lo. No canteen?? Cook myself lo.(I have been my own tester all this while) Haven't go somewhere to play? Buy jo airticket lo...ahahahahaha....

Departure

At the time I started to love this little Singapore island, satisfied and happy, I chose to turn my back on it and go to the other corner in this world. Am I making the right decision? Yes... I truely have to trust myself.

Back to 1st September 2008 - the time I had been long waited or maybe the time I hoped it will never come (Don't know what I'm saying). As usual it was still a normal day for most of the people. Everyone was too busy with their stuffs and my lunch and dinner hours were still fully booked by my friends...haha.

Oh...it was 6.30pm and I...had to go. Sorry everyone, thank you for coming and see you...next time. I when back to my room and took all my luggage down with ws, yy and sl. After some messy event, finally we can get in to our cab. Along the way to Changi Airport, my hand phone was started to receive wishes from all my friends but the aura in the cab was just not so right, some of them were pretending like they are very busy and one of them just fall asleep...lol. Ya, the way to Changi Airport is not short ya...paiseh. Without having much conversation with them, we reached the airport.

That was the second time I came to this place. First time was sending yy's Jacklyn 表姐 (impromptu one) and this time...was me haha.. They gave me two gifts to make sure I will miss them when I am away. I can feel the 心意 that you have put in even until now. Thank you Weishin, LYanying, Teng Seng and Sein Chyi. I love it so much. We spent our remaining time chatting, photo taking and having a memorial trip back to 10 in hall 10 time tunnel. You know, I like to watch those pictures and video clips but not now... It just make me hard to let go.

What should I say?

So...they stood up and accompany me to the gate. It was 10pm. I don't know what I can say to them. My head was blank and I was still trying to suppress my emotion. We stopped in front of the gate and still want to talk a while. Okey... I have to go... See you...after 4 months. I started to hug each of them and I saw yingyan eyes were red. She cried...weishin cried...and I just try to say some silly things to comform them and...I cried. Such a long time in my life I didn't cry in that way. Thought I can avoid to let them see that...

Thank you Lim Ying Yan, Cheah Wei Shin and Wong Sai Leong. Thank you for coming this far. Let me finish the remaining myself...

Those events after I get through the gate was just too embarrass to talk. So...skipped.

A lot of feeling overwhelm my heart. From the week I came back to Singapore until now, all my friends are just too good to me.
